The Inpex-led Ichthys LNG project will not start shipping gas until early 2018, three months behind schedule, according to Patrick Pouyanné, the chief executive of French major Total.

The Inpex-led Ichthys LNG project will not start shipping gas until early 2018, three months behind schedule, according to a Reuters report quoting Patrick Pouyanné, the chief executive of French major Total.

Inpex’s original target for initial LNG production at the project, which is located near the Australian city of Darwin, was by the end of September.
