Eni to sell Belgian gas and power retail operations to Eneco

Eni is continuing its divestment plan by selling its gas and power retail operations in Belgium to Dutch energy company Eneco.

Eni is continuing its divestment plan by selling its gas and power retail operations in Belgium to Dutch energy company Eneco, the Italian major said in a statement.

The two companies have signed a sale-and-purchase agreement that includes Eni Gas & Power and its subsidiary Eni Wind Belgium.

The company serves about 850,000 electricity and gas connection points, has a market share of around 10% and employs around 200 staff.
