Eni is continuing its divestment plan by selling its gas and power retail operations in Belgium to Dutch energy company Eneco, the Italian major said in a statement.
The two companies have signed a sale-and-purchase agreement that includes Eni Gas & Power and its subsidiary Eni Wind Belgium.
The company serves about 850,000 electricity and gas connection points, has a market share of around 10% and employs around 200 staff.
