Eastern Australia gas crisis a ‘shadow’ over industry – Coleman

Eastern Australia’s gas crisis will get worse before it gets better, the chief executive of Perth-based Woodside Petroleum, Peter Coleman, has told The Australian Business Review.

He added that the gas shortage "risks damaging the reputation of the whole Australian oil and gas sector in the eyes of the community, investors and LNG customers".

Coleman stressed it was an opportune time for Australia to put in place a policy that would "prevent the nation’s energy endowment being squandered".
