Chongqing’s gas consumption rises to 1.72 bcm in Jan-Feb 2017

The Chinese municipality of Chongqing consumed 1.72 billion cubic metres of gas in the first two months of 2017, up by 15.46% year on year, according to the Chongqing Economic and Information Committee.

Of the total, residential gas use declined by 3.3%, to 564 million cubic metres (MMcm), while CNG use fell by 4.42%, to 108 MMcm. Industrial use increased by 26.18%, to 1.05 bcm.
