Egypt appoints new heads of EGPC and EGAS

Egypt’s oil minister, Tarek el-Molla, has appointed new heads for state oil and gas companies Egyptian General Petroleum Corp. (EGPC) and Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Co. (EGAS), the Ministry of Petroleum said in a statement on Tuesday.

Abed Ezz el-Regal will replace Tarek al-Hadidi, who was appointed as head of EGPC in April 2016. Osama al-Bakly has been appointed head of EGAS, and will take over from Mohamed al-Masry.
