Canadian gas producers look to Chicago

Canada's WCSB gas producers are considering delivering gas to Chicago as they can no longer rely on proposed West Coast LNG projects to move forward.

Following TransCanada’s success earlier this week in securing deals to deliver 42.5 million cubic metres per day (MMcm/d) of Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB) gas for delivery to Ontario on its Canadian Mainline pipeline, WCSB gas producers are considering delivering gas to Chicago as they can no longer rely on proposed West Coast LNG projects to move forward.
