Nigeria LNG plans to take an FID on its planned seventh train within 36 months – by around early 2020 – according to a statement from Nigerian National Petroleum Corp. General Manager Maikanti Baru on state television.
The date has been pushed back from 2019, which was the previous date given by NLNG.
The delay is because NLNG needs to address disruptions to gas supply before an FID can be made, Baru said.
