Algeria looks to beat gas production targets

By Staff reporter 15 March 2017

Algeria expects to produce more than 57 billion cubic metres of gas in 2017, a Sonatrach source has told Reuters.

Sonatrach set the target of 57 bcm for the year, up from 54 bcm in 2016.

"The Rhourde Ennous-Hassi R’Mel pipeline will be operational in May and it will allow export of an additional 4 bcm/y," the Sonatrach source told the news agency.
