Estonia’s Essti Energia planning to sell gas in Latvia and Lithuania

Estonian state-owned electricity company Essti Energia is ready to start selling gas to domestic consumers in Latvia and Lithuania as soon as tariffs and rules are confirmed, Head of Power Sales Karla Agan told The Baltic Course.

"We are also estimating optimistically our chances of launching gas sales for Lithuanian enterprises at the start of 2018. There are signs on the market that Gazprom should then stop offering special prices to some sellers and this would result in the gas market becoming more active," Agan said.
