Suzhou gas consumption to hit 4.6 bcm by 2020

Suzhou, a major city in China’s Jiangsu province near Shanghai, is expected to consume 4.62 billion cubic metres of gas every year by 2020, according to the local government’s development plan.

Suzhou will also add 370 km of pipelines by then. The city will not build new CNG refilling stations over the next four years, but it will build up to 29 LNG station for vehicles and 2-3 LNG stations for ships, according to the plan.
