Senators push Trump for FERC nominations

United States senators from both parties have urged President Donald Trump to nominate officials to FERC.

United States senators from both parties have urged President Donald Trump to nominate officials to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).

FERC has not had enough members to form a quorum since early February, which means it is unable to approve projects. Trump is expected to nominate Kevin McIntyre, an energy lawyer who is co-head of Jones Day’s global energy practice, as head of FERC.
