Gazprom pushes back Sakhalin 2 expansion

Gazprom has pushed back its schedule for the expansion of Sakhalin 2 LNG.

It now intends to complete the project by 2023-2024, according to the company’s eurobond presentation, seen by Reuters.

It previously expected to finish the expansion by 2021.

The 10 mtpa Sakhalin 2 facility is currently Russia’s only LNG plant.
