The estimated price for Gazprom’s gas sales outside of the CIS stabilised at $204 per thousand cubic metres (Mcm: $5.6/MMBtu) in March, about the same price as in February, according to the latest data from Russia’s Federal Anti-Monopoly Service (FAS).
The FAS-estimated price does not always exactly correspond to Gazprom Export’s current price, but the price published in the Russian gas giant’s IFRS financial statements from Q2 2015 to Q3 2016 differs from the FAS indicator by an average of less than 1.5%.
