Gazprom postpones Baltic LNG launch

Gazprom has again postponed the tentative date for the launch of its 10-15 mtpa Baltic LNG plant at the port of Ust-Luga until 2022-2023.

Gazprom has once again postponed the tentative date for the launch of its 10-15 mtpa Baltic LNG plant at the port of Ust-Luga until 2022-2023, according to a new memorandum on eurobonds.

The investment feasibility study for the LNG plant in the Leningrad region was approved in 2015, and Gazprom signed a memorandum with Shell on the project in June 2016.

Startup was tentatively scheduled for December 2021.
