Democrats in the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee have urged United States President Donald Trump to immediately nominate a new member of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).

For more than a month, FERC has lacked the minimum three members needed for a quorum to issue approvals for projects.
