Algeria’s Sonatrach will renew a deal with Engie to supply 10 billion cubic metres per year of LNG, a source at Sonatrach has told Reuters.
The deal is likely to be signed before the end of March, according to the news agency, and will will replace a recently expired contract.
The duration of the new contract is not yet known, but Algeria recently decided to negotiate shorter-term contracts. Most of Algeria’s contracts will end in 2018-2019.
