Russia’s Novatek is holding talks with Gazprombank on the purchase of its subsidiary CJSC Kriogaz, which is building low- and medium-tonnage LNG plants in western and northwestern Russia, four sources familiar with the situation have told Interfax.
One of the sources said the primary topic of discussion is the Kriogaz Vysotsk project, a liquefaction and shipping plant that will have a capacity of 660,000 tpa when finished. Another source said the purchase of all the LNG plants being built by Kriogaz is under discussion.
