Brazilian authorities will announce a list of areas to be offered in the country’s third pre-salt round in the coming weeks, Decio Oddone, director general of Brazil’s hydrocarbons agency, told delegates at the CERAWeek by IHS Markit conference in Houston on Tuesday.
Oddone said the third round, which will offer production-sharing contracts, would take place by the end of 2017.
