Total set to increase activity in Vaca Muerta – Hourcard

Total is set to announce that it is boosting its activity in Argentina’s Vaca Muerta shale play, Michel Hourcard, the president and chief executive of the company’s exploration and production arm for the Americas, told delegates at the CERAWeek by IHS Markit conference in Houston on Tuesday.

"We have very good acreage [especially for] wet gas and oil," he said. "It’s time to move – we are more or less ready," he added.
