Ukraine has enough gas in storage to get it through the heating season despite a cold winter, according to state-owned Naftogaz Ukrainy

Ukraine has enough gas in storage to get it through the heating season despite a cold winter, according to state-owned Naftogaz Ukrainy. Ukraine has used 6.4 billion cubic metres of gas from its underground storage facilities since the beginning of the 2016-2017 heating season. This is 600 million cubic metres (MMcm), or 9%, less than the same period during the 2015-2016 heating season, Naftogaz has said. The heating season runs from October to April.
