EU’s Šefcovic heads to Azerbaijan to discuss Trans-Adriatic Pipeline

Maroš Šefcovic, the European Commission’s vice president for Energy Union, will meet officials in Baku, Azerbaijan on Thursday to discuss progress on the Southern Gas Corridor, the commission has announced.

Šefcovic will meet Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan’s president, as well as various officials from countries involved in the Southern Gas Corridor, including Greece, Italy and Turkey.
