Mexico’s state-run gas pipeline network operator Cenagas has awarded four contracts for capacity to three companies in the country’s inaugural open season auction.
BP Energía México won a share, as did local companies Fábrica de Envases de Vidrio Potosí and Industria del Álcali, according to Business News Americas.
The auction awarded nearly 30% of the available capacity on pipelines importing gas into Mexico.
