Saffron Energy sees easy access to Italian market

Saffron Energy is a new company created to develop three gas fields in northern Italy. Its CEO explains the advantages of producing in the country

Gas producer Saffron Energy, created in November 2016 to acquire Po Valley’s subsidiary Northsun Italia, is expected to list on the London Stock Exchange this week. The IPO is finalised to the development of Saffron’s core fields – Sillaro, Bezzecca and Sant’Alberto – in the Lombardy and Emilia Romagna regions. Michael Masterman, the company’s chief executive, told Interfax Natural Gas Daily about Saffron’s prospects.
