Russia ready to modernise Slovenian power plants

Russian companies are ready to take part in a project to modernise Slovenia’s power plants, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday.

"Russian companies are ready to contribute to the modernisation of Slovenian power generating facilities. This will improve the Slovenian capital’s electricity supply, but also convert coal energy to gas, which would help the environmental situation," Putin said after talks with Slovenian President Borut Pahor.
