UK supermarket Waitrose to use biogas for delivery trucks

UK supermarket Waitrose has introduced 10 CNG trucks to its delivery fleet, powered by renewable biomethane gas.

UK supermarket Waitrose has introduced 10 CNG trucks to its delivery fleet, powered by renewable biomethane gas.

Jointly developed by Scania and Agility Fuel Solutions, the new model uses a twin carbon fibre tank that stores gas pressurised at 250 bar to increase its range from 500 km – the current average – to up to 830 km.
