Tripura boosts CNG vehicle and domestic connection efforts

India’s state of Tripura is expanding its efforts to get more vehicles running on CNG and to connect more households to the piped gas supply network, according to India Live Today.

A special joint venture has been established by Gail and the Assam and Tripura governments to supply CNG and PNG to improve the environment and cut fuel costs.

The JV provides CNG to more than 10,000 vehicles and has connected over 29,000 households as well as businesses, hospitals, schools and colleges to the gas...
