Israel’s gas buyers may be able to tap a new source of gas by 2020 as the company behind the offshore Karish and Tanin fields has revealed plans to expedite their development.

Energean Oil & Gas is looking for investors to help finance the development of the fields and aims to start producing gas by 2020. The Greek company plans to drill 3-4 wells in Karish and 2-3 wells in Tanin. It will submit a formal field development plan for both fields by mid-2017 in the...
