Interfax Natural Gas Daily spoke to Larry Bottomley, chief executive of Atlantic margins-focused explorer Chariot Oil & Gas, about the potential of the company’s discoveries in the Namibian Basin and the problems of doing business there.
Interfax Natural Gas Daily: Are you searching for gas or oil in Namibia?
Larry Bottomley: The geology changes quite remarkably across the Namibian Basin. The area around Kudu is perceived to be gas-prone. In the southern region, we’ve identified two large gas prospects. In the central area we are targeting oil.
