Henry Hub gas prices averaged $2.51/MMBtu in 2016 and are expected to increase to $3.55/MMBtu in 2017 and $3.73/MMBtu in 2018, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported it in its latest Short-Term Energy Outlook, published on 10 January.
Domestic gas production was estimated to have averaged 2.05 billion cubic metres per day in 2016 – a decline of 51.0 million cubic metres from 2015.
