Doubts are hanging over the proposed Stork 2 gas pipeline from Poland to the Czech Republic as neither country has submitted a bid for EU funding to support the project.

The second call for proposals for funding under the EU’s Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) programme for 2016 expired on 8 November. The project developers also did not take part in the first CEF energy call in April.
