The arrival and startup of Abu Dhabi’s first FSRU will give the emirate a much-needed supply boost. Excelerate Energy has delivered the vessel, which is moored at Ruwais, 240 km west of Abu Dhabi city, Emirates News Agency reported on 8 August. The vessel loaded LNG at Das Island in the second half of July before continuing on to Ruwais.
