Iranian gas exports to Iraq starting in the next month

Iran plans to start exporting gas to Iraq in the next month, according to Hamid Reza Araghi, director of the National Iranian Gas Co., in an interview with the Iranian Students’ News Agency.

A second route to Basra will be opened in 2017, boosting total export capacity from Iran to Iraq to 70 million cubic metres per day.
