Gazprom awards pipeline contract to Stroytransgaz

Gazprom has awarded Stroytransgaz the general contract to build a gas pipeline to the Russian town of Bolshoi Kamen, home to the Zvezda shipyard project, according to material on the Russian government’s procurement website.

The material refers to the construction of branch gas pipelines running 50 km to the Vrangel and Bolshoi Kamen gas distribution stations in addition to a 9 km inter-settlement pipeline.

The contract is priced at RUB 10.4 billion ($162 million). The other bidders for the contract were Stroygazconsulting, Stroygazmontazh and ASU PRO, although...
