Lebanon expects to start negotiations with potential LNG providers in June for the supply of LNG into the country’s 3.5 mtpa FSRU, an adviser to the Lebanese energy minister told Interfax on Wednesday.

“Maybe early next month we’ll approach the market for the supply of LNG and start negotiating with an LNG supplier,” Zaher Sleiman, an oil and gas consultant at the ministry said. Several companies have already approached Lebanon Oil Installations to discuss imports.
