A tender launched by Argentina’s YPF and Enarsa for deliveries in July closed last week, but only three cargoes were awarded out of the six Argentina had sought.
BP, Statoil and Morgan Stanley will deliver one cargo each to Bahia Blanca in July. The cargoes will be priced at around $15.50/MMBtu, sources said, making them some of the cheapest YPF and Enarsa have secured in recent months.
Argentina remains as one of the premium markets in the world as Asian demand has dropped.
