Japan’s Inpex to go ahead with Indonesian Ruby field

Japan’s oil and gas company Inpex has decided to go ahead with the development of the $500 million Ruby gas field, located in the Sebuku Block offshore Indonesia, it said on Tuesday.

Japan’s oil and gas company Inpex has decided to go ahead with the development of the $500 million Ruby gas field, located in the Sebuku Block offshore Indonesia, it said on Tuesday.

Production from the field, estimated at 2.8 thousand cubic metres per day, is expected to start in 2013. The gas production will flow to and be processed at the onshore production facilities at the Offshore Mahakam Block, Inpex said.
