The Netherlands will miss its EU-set target for renewables to make up 14% of the country’s energy mix by 2020, the Dutch government’s Nationale Energieverkenning 2015 report has found.

The share of renewables in the energy mix is expected to grow from 5.6% in 2014 to 12.4% in 2020.
