South Stream on course for 2015 startup

Gazprom set up and signed agreements in several countries this week for its $16 billion South Stream gas pipeline project, which will deliver up to 63 billion cubic metres of gas per year to central and southern Europe via the Black Sea. The project will be operated under a new company, South Stream Transport BV, and has a scheduled startup date of 2015.
