Shell will drill its first well in Colombia’s La Luna shale formation next week, one of the company’s unconventional drilling experts told CWC’s Latin American shale conference in Buenos Aires on Thursday. The executive also said the supermajor is cautiously optimistic about Argentina’s Vaca Muerta formation and is impressed by the area’s geology.
