CNOOC to expand LNG refilling infrastructure in Zhuhai

China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC) plans to build 16 LNG refilling stations in southern China’s Zhuhai city from 2011 to 2015, CNOOC said in a news release issued on Wednesday.

China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC) plans to build 16 LNG refilling stations in southern China’s Zhuhai city from 2011 to 2015, CNOOC said in a news release issued on Wednesday.

The stations will have a combined capacity of 65,000 tons per annum, enough to fuel more than 4,000 buses in the city for a year, according to the release. A local subsidiary, CNOOC Zhuhai New Energy (ZNE), is building the stations.
