The threat of industrial action at the three CBM-to-LNG plants in Queensland has subsided, after workers voted in favour of a new enterprise bargaining agreement with contractor Bechtel Group.

The dispute between Bechtel, which is working on all three projects, and members of the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU) went before the Federal Court of Australia this week, which blocked the union’s plan to strike on Thursday.
