The average price of LNG produced in China declined by 3.5% month on month in August, to RMB 3,242 per ton ($8.73/MMBtu). Forty-six plants in Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Ningxia, Gansu, Shaanxi, Guizhou, Sichuan, Chongqing, Jiangsu, Shanxi and Hebei cut their asking prices by an average of 6.1% from the previous month to reduce inventories.
