Indian LNG imports by month 2017-2019

India’s LNG imports rose by 8.6% year on year in July 2019, to 2.1 mt. The rise followed gains in Q2 2019, when imports increased by 18.8% on a quarterly basis and 5.0% on an annual basis, to 5.9 mt. In contrast, a decline of 11.0% year on year was seen in Q1, when import volumes dropped to 5.0 mt.
