Gas demand in Italy, by quarter

Italy’s gas demand increased by 4.3% in the first half of 2019, to 40.44 billion cubic metres. Gas consumption recovered in Q2 following a slight decline on an annual basis in Q1, according to data from the Italian Ministry of Economic Development. Gas demand in June 2019 grew by 9.2% compared with June 2018.
