The key issue: Hungary and Slovakia are looking into contingency measures together in the event of a disruption to supplies of Russian gas via Ukraine this winter.

Interfax analysis: Hungary and Slovakia have intensified their cooperation on the security of their gas supplies in recent months, given they are both vulnerable to disruption to Russian supplies via the Ukrainian transit route.
