The average price of LNG produced in China increased by 3.32% last week from the previous week, to RMB 3,490 per ton ($9.79/MMBtu). Sixteen plants in Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Shandong, Henan, Shaanxi and Sichuan hiked their quoted prices by 0.79% week on week after the start of China’s summer cooling season increased demand for gas-fired power generation.
