Spot LNG prices in Japan, China, South Korea and Taiwan increased by 4.57% last week from the previous week, to an average of $4.58/MMBtu, amid rising gas demand for the summer cooling season.

End-user prices for trucked LNG in 14 of China’s 19 major consumption markets fell by 2.83% last week from the previous week after plants in the northwest, southwest and east of the country cut their prices and the Rudong and Ningbo terminals did likewise.
