Spot LNG prices in Japan, China, South Korea and Taiwan increased by an average of 3.5% last week from the previous week after several buyers bought cargoes to meet growing gas demand from power generators. Prices averaged $5.6/MMBtu on Friday compared with $8.1/MMBtu on the same day in 2018.
