Asian spot LNG prices increased by an average of 9% last week compared with the previous week. The upturn ended a 15-week stretch of consecutive declines that had plunged prices to their lowest level for the time of the year since 2016. Prices averaged $5.25/MMBtu on Friday, which was the highest level since 20 March.
