The key issue: Equatorial Guinea has signed a deal to maintain the supply of feedstock to its Punta Europa LNG plant by piping gas from Noble Energy’s existing fields in the country’s northern waters.

Interfax analysis: The partners in blocks I and O off the coast of Equatorial Guinea will invest around $350 million in the licences, with the gas processed at the Alba LPG plant and then sent on to the EG LNG facility in Punta Europe, 70 km away on Bioko Island.
